Cleveland delivers again….Their GC4 Tour irons are designed for players seeking performance between their GC4 and CG2 irons. The CG4 was been designed for playability and the CG2 was designed for workability. What does that mean for the CG4 Tour? A very forgiving iron for players who are interested in learning to work the ball. I have reached the level of my game in which learning to work the ball is the next logical step and I’m a bit cautious about jumping right to blades. The CMM material that Cleveland has created for this generation not only promises but delivers that soft feel as the ball comes screaming off the club face. The smaller head size speaks to those who prefer traditional design although the topline is a bit thick. I have found it very easy to make the transition to these irons.
