Titleist 690 CB Forged Iron set Golf Club
Golf June 25th, 2008
I’ve played many forged clubs in my time, from Cobra, Hogan, Wilson Staff, Mizuno. But it’s been almost 20 years since I tried a Titleist. These 690’s fit my game perfectly at this point in time. Solid as an oak and the feel is tremendous. A few years ago the Hogan felt like this to me, but not anymore. The DG shaft is a perfect fit with this club. If you’re looking for a low to mid ball flight the DG is the way to go. A big difference between the CB and the MB. I just don’t consistently practice enough to groove my swing for the MB. Confidence is the biggest factor for me, now, and I know I can trust the 690 CB even with mishits now and then.
