FENG SHUI WEALTH CURES

The Art of Feng Shui involves the placement of sacred objects in relationship to our surroundings - in particular our home and business. In Asia, a Feng Shui Master will even be consulted by the Architect n the planning of the relationships of rooms, doorways and windows to themselves and the forces of nature. It is truly believed that the proper, or improper, positioning and association of all these elements will have a dramatic impact on your life. Here we offer the sacred objects with their meanings for your own Feng Shui collection.

Depite being an au courant fad, feng shui — pronounced “fung shway” — is nothing new to the Chinese. In fact, feng shui is a millennia-old practice.

The Chinese have long believed that if a home or business had a harmonious and positive flow of ch’i, which refers to cosmic breath or energy, those living and working there would benefit, thus enjoying health, happiness and prosperity. Palaces, farmhouses, temples and even entire cities were laid according to feng shui’s precepts.

BUDDHA of RICH REWARDS, or, HANDS UP BUDDHA - Known to encourage great wealth into your home. Stand him in your personal wealth sector of your home facing in, so that he is bringing in the wealth and not taking it out. The Buddha of Rich rewards stands holding a Gold Ingot in the air with both hands. This is a symbol of rich rewards coming your way. The bigger the ingot, the larger the rewards. To receive the full benefit from this splendid Budha, rub him tummy each day and make a wish for yourself and your family. Always place Buddhas in a High position. More Hands Up Buddhas

THREE LEGGED FROG WITH A COIN IN ITS MOUTH, or, MONEY FROG - Named Chachu will attract plenty of wealth into your home using three-legged Frogs with a coin in its mouth! This auspicious creature attracts good fortune into your home. Place the frog in any of the corners diagonally opposite you front door for best effect. At the very least, you should have one frog facing out to collect the money and one facing in to bring the money back into the house. You can also place him in view of your front door. Every morning turn him towards the exterior. Turn him towards the interior in the evening to prevent him from becoming exhausted, or, letting your money escape. Keep you frogs below the table, behind the couch or in other discreet areas of your home. I keep mine on top of my computer at night facing into the room and facing toward the window beside my computer during the day. See more Frogs

LAUGHING BUDDHA - The Laughing Buddha is well known symbol of happiness, wealth, kindness and innocent contented joy. It is believed that by rubbing his tummy each day, which is said to contain much wealth, will bring good luck and prosperity. Treat him with respect and he will reward you handsomely. Best direction for him to be placed is our personal wealth direction. Place a figurine of a laughing buddha in your living room and garden. The buddha is the most revered deity in the East. Choose an image of him laughing to attract happiness to your home. More Buddhas

Wicca 101: The History and Meaning of the Pentagram

Uncategorized March 14th, 2008

The word pentagram comes from the Greek word pentagrammos, which roughly translates to “five-lines”. This age-old symbol, also known as the pentacle, is highly regarded by modern Pagans and is (unfortunately) often feared by others. In this guide, I will attempt to dispel the fear associated with the pentagram by providing historical facts. I will also seek to give new Pagans and those exploring the Pagan path for the first time a heightened appreciation for this symbol. To those already established in one of the many western Pagan traditions, I offer this guide as a review of the pentagram’s history and meaning.

History

This symbol, nearly as old as humanity itself, has been linked with many of history’s greatest civilizations including the Greeks, Romans, Persians, Chinese, Egyptians, East Indians, and Mayans. The first recorded use of the pentagram occurs in Mesopotamian writings dating to approximately 3,000 B.C. (over 5,000 years ago). Mesopotamia consisted of portions of modern day Iraq and Syria.

When viewed from Earth, the planet Venus plots a completely perfect pentagram shape around the sun every eight years. This phenomena gives credibility to the theory that the symbol originated from the observations of ancient astronomers, and also explains the strong ties between it and early worshippers of Venus and its goddesses. Among others, those worshipped included Venus/Aphrodite, Hygeia, Turan, Ishtar, Astarte, Inanna, Frigg, Freya, Kukulcan, and Ushas.

The ancient Greek mathematician and numerologist Pythagoras, for which the Pythagorean Theorem is named, seems to have been the first to assert that each of the pentagram’s points represents one of the five elements that combine to form you and I - earth, air, fire, water, and psyche (or spirit). Another school of thought in ancient times held that each of the pentagram’s points represented one of the five visible planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.

You (as well as many modern Christians) may be surprised to learn that prior to the Cross of Calvary, the pentagram was the preferred emblem of early Christians, most likely worn to represent the five wounds of Christ or the Star of Bethlehem.

Modern Meaning and Use

To most modern Pagans, the pentagram symbolizes the elements of earth, air, fire, water, and spirit, as well as the directions East, South, West, North, and Within. The continuous line that forms the star speaks to the interconnectedness of all things Divine and Earthly, and reminds us to strive toward balance with all we encounter. The circle that frequently appears around the pentagram is symbolic of unity, wholeness, the quest for Divine Knowledge, and the never-ending cycle of birth, death, and rebirth.

It is by drawing on the elements represented by the pentagram while within a sacred circle that those who practice the art of focused intention known as Witchcraft (or simply “the Craft”) seek to alter their internal and external realities. Those who follow the Wiccan tradition believe that the Craft is governed by the Threefold Law, which states that any energy set forth, be it with good or harmful intentions, will be multiplied three times over and returned to the caster. This encourages most Wiccans to use the Craft only for spiritual growth and healing, and discourages its use in the harming of anyone or anything, including the interference with another’s free will.

The inverted or upside-down Pentagram

Many of us have been programmed by the mass media and evangelical Christianity to fear the inverted pentagram, and to associate it with satanic worship. In truth, the inverted pentagram is not inherently “evil,” and is not necessarily a sign of satanic worship.

First and most importantly, know that Satan is a Christian deity. There is no all-evil deity in the Wiccan tradition that corresponds to Satan. Most Pagans believe in neither the existence of such a being nor in the place Christians call Hell. Second, modern satanists adopted the use of the inverted pentagram in the mid-1900’s. Recorded history shows that the pentagram (and even the inverted pentagram) was around long before this time. For example, Pythagoras (mentioned above) and his followers wore inverted pentagrams to identify themselves to each other. Early Christians also wore inverted pentagrams (which they likened to the Star of Bethlehem) as emblems of their faith. Neither of these groups were “evil.” Third, the Pagan Horned God, associated with vitality, sexuality, logic, power, and the hunt, is sometimes depicted within an inverted pentagram. The point-down pentagram is also an emblem of the second-degree initiation in today’s Gardnerian tradition of Wicca. In none of these cases are the labels “evil” or “Satanic” applicable or relevant.

GARDEN WITCHERY - MAGICK FROM THE GROUND UP

Uncategorized March 14th, 2008

What is Garden Witchery? For some people, garden witchery conjures up images of lush, enchanted gardens where butterflies dance and children play. Wind chimes sing in the breeze and fountains trickle and splash. In this magickal place, the witch who lives there strolls about under sunny skies or dappled moonlight, garthering plants for her spellwork and for their fragrance. Fantasy? No. All of those things are possible in a city, suburban, or rural yard.

Suburban magickal gardens are a reality. You can do it. All it takes is hard work, determination and time. Let’s add two more very important magickal ingredients to this mixture: you and your imagination.

Use yours for a moment to visit me in my magickal gardens. Just come as you are. How will you find me? I can usually be found working in the gardens, toting around a five-gallon bucket full of gardening supplies, I am typically crawling around on my hands and knees, attired in sturdy clothes and sunglasses with my “gardening” hat. It’s more likely I’ll either be planting or weeding in the gardens. I’m probably grubby and having a great time.

Sorry for the lack of mystique. There is no big drama here. I am a very down-to-earth gardener.

So you want to learn about magickal gardening? Let’s first look at your hands (I’m not looking to see if you have a “Green Thumb”), I’m looking to see if you have strong, capable hands. You will also need to have an open and loving heart, and determination.

A garden witch is not unlike a kitchen witch in that they both practice a hearth and home type of magick. However, don’t let that fool you into complacency. A kitchen wirtch or garden witch on their home turf is an awesome magickal force indeed.

Practicing a down-to-earth, practical style of witchcraft is both enjoyable and fulfilling. There is nothing wrong with raising your family and quietly living the natural magician’s life. How do you imagine the wisewomen of old lived? It’s a pretty safe bet that they practiced alone and discreeetly. (In the old days, it was safer that way).

Growing your own magickal plants and herbs and using them properly becomes a complex part of a major magickal working. It is true that working advanced magick requires more time, study and effort on your part. That time and effort you put out to elevate your skills is well spent. It separates the novice from the adept practitioner.

Magickal herbalism in itself is considered to be a major magick. Major magicks are defined as those that require a higher level of knowledge and expertise. It may take months before your plants are ready to harvest. Magickal herbs have their own energies and correspondences to be considered as well. It requires discipline, patience, and competence to use plant energies effectively. Think about it.

So many witches are in a rush to learn a new spell or a new technique that they often overlook the obvious. It’s not the spells, it’s about the magick. Your magick. each person is drawn to a specialty in magick, or a favorite type of magick, if you will–something that just clicks for them. For some of us, it’s herbs and gardening.

If you had to assemble herbs for a healing spell and you wanted a lot of magickal oomph, what do you think would be most likely to deliver it? Some dried lavender that you ordered online? Who knows what sort of chemicals could have been sprayed on the plants? Or how old the herb is? Or how many people handled it?

Instead, consider some homegrown lavender or yarrow that you would have tended yourself. We’ll take this a step further and add that you harvested in a correct phase of the moon that corresponded with the results you were trying to achieve. Astrological timing plays a large part in garden witchery. These magickal herbs and flowers that you’ve grown can be further enhanced by the correc tuse of astrological timing.

There is nothing quite like making — or growing, for that matter — a magickal tool yourself. As you know, a self-created magickal tool or object becomes twice as powerful from absorbing the energy that you expended in the making of the item. So the same can be said for cultivating your own magickal flowers and herbs. As you sow, raise, and then harvest your herbs and plants, your energy has seeped into the plant every time you touched it. Now all htat energy is waiting to be programmed or released.

Garden witches and natural magicians can be city dwellers working in community gardens as easly as suburban Pagans doing the “weekend warrior” thing in their backyards. The point is that you will be working in the garden, whether it’s in pots and window boxes, on your balcony, in the backyard or on the farm. It doesn’t matter where. It is the quality of the plants, not the quantity of them, that counts. Connecting with nature is our goal here. Sound good? Great? Roll up your sleeves and get ready to dig in.

Herbs and garden plants play a meaningful part in the folklore and tradition of every culture. Their arcane and phenomenal powers to heal the mind and body fascinate us and confirm humandkind’s connection to the natural world. A garden is a place that encourages and lures people to unearth the magick, mystery, and unexpected surprises that nature will reveal to anyone who wants to take a closer look. the garden does and will talk back, teaching us about success as well as failure. What do you imagine you could learn if we were to settle down in the grass, be still, and listen to Nature as she teaches us? You would discover many secret things and learn a myriad of valuable lessons. That’s a good place to start, just don’t stop there.

Now, how much information do you suppose would be divined by getting out there and actually getting your hands dirty? As gardeners, be it magickal or mundane, we cultivate momre than just herbs and flowers. We are cultivating a sensitivity and appreciation for the environment. By tapping into the magick of the earth, you increase your abillities and strengthen your magickal expertise. To “walk with power” means that you move in tune with the powers of nature, the powers of the Earth itself. This is a very important step toward becoming a responsible and jubliant guardian of the Earth.

THE LEGACY OF THE WISEWOMEN

The history of herbalism begins at the dawn of time, when our earliest ancestors discovered that certain plants had a specific effect on their health and well-being. Other plants were found to comfort, had pleasant aromas, produced a colored dye, or were good to eat.

It is no surprise, then, that plants were thought to possess powers either for good or evil and then became objects of reverence and worship. The trees especially, as they lived for much longer than a single human’s life span. Most of the plants that were considered magickal were used for medicine rather than for foodstuff.

As magick and faith, biologyand medicine, botany and philosophy all initially existed together rather than being thought of as separate sciences, rituals began around the harvesting and use of plants and herbs. To be the most effective they were picked at certain times of the year or prepared during specific cycles of the moon. The custodians of this knowledge were the first witches, the wisewomen.

The legacy of the wisewomen instills love and reverence for the Earth. From these lessons we learn the hidden meanings of the folk names of flowers and the legends of the trees, the uses of astrological timing, the portents of nature, and the creatures of the garden.

Traditionally, the witch was a solitary practitioner, a seer and the village wisewoman or cunning man. From their modest gardens they produced herbal amulets and charms for the common folk. Local practitioners birthed babies and cast their spells. They whispered herbal treatments to their clients and performed spells for love, healing, prosperity and an abundant harvest.

GOTHIC PLANTS AND THEIR MAGICKAL ALTERNATIVES

Historically, witch plants carry a sinister reputation, such as belladonna, foxglove, and deadly nightshade. Hemlock, monkshood, and the yew with its berries are all beautiful plants and all extremely toxic. Unfortunately, witches were often accused of being poisoners.

Who would grow such plants today? If you walk into your local nursery with a list of plants like that, they are going to get real suspicious.

Yes, many common plants and shrubs are poisonous. Some you may not even know or suspect, like azaleas, morning glories, and lily of the valley. If you have children or pets, I urge you to be cautious with your plantings. Do your homework.

MEDIEVAL GARDENS

Medieval gardens weren’t that different from our magickal or mundane gardens of today. Remember that these were working gardens. They fed the family. Fruit trees provided the cherry, pear, plum and apple, favorite medieval fruits. Vegetables such as beets, radishes, beans, cabbage and carrots were cultivated.

Herbs such as angelica and lavender were planted for medicinal, aromatic, and seasoning values. Angelica is an archaic and highly aromatic herb that was believed to possess angelic powers and was once worn as an amulet for protection against evil spells. It has the astrological correspondence of the sun. Angelica stems and seeds were used as flavorings, and the stalks were candied and eaten. This plant was also utilized for its aromatic properties derived from its flowers and leaves, both for perfumes and potpourri. Magickally, you may draw upon the natural energy of angelica’s blooms and leaves for healing and protection spells.

Lavender was cultivated not only for scent but for medicine. Its oil is a strong antiseptic with antibacterial properties. It was used to treat all manner of cuts, scrapes, infections, and colds. The scent of lavender has traditionally been employed to help ease headaches and to mask unpleasant odors. Lavender was and still is a popular flower for potpourri and cosmetics. Lavender has the planetary correspondence of Mercury, and it may be worked into any enchantments designed for love, happiness and peace.

The rose is a symbol of love and of secrets. Traditionally, a white rose has the ruling planet of the moon. A red rose belongs to Jupiter and a damask rose relates to Venus. In olden times, rose petals were used to treat a plethora of ailments. The petals were added to salads, crystallized and made into syrup, preserves and vinegars. The petals were added to soaps and cosmetics. Rose water was added for flavoring in sauces and sweet dishes. the oil was applied to chapped skin and, of course, for perfumes.

Other common varieties of medieval herbs were mullein, fennel, yarrow, mint, tansy, rosemary, parsley, sage, dill and thyme, all of which, I am happy to point out, are today used as magickal herbs. Some types of medieval flowers that were (and still are) popular include the iris, lily, poppy, peony, columbine, delphinium and the violet.

You know the violet, that great little flower that pops up in your lawn and flower beds in the spring? Unfortunately considered a weed today, the violet has the following magickal properties: love, happiness, and faery magick. The sweet violet is a herald of spring and a Venus plant. It has been cultivated for its perfume and color, and is added to cosmetics, drinks and syrups. To the ancient Greeks, it was a symbol of fertility. Among the more popular perfume scents used in Victorian England, the violet was venerated by the old herbalists, who all spoke with great affection for this beguiling little purplish-blue flower.

Today, you may gather violet booms, wash tehm gently, and toss them into salads. Or pat them dry, drip them into fine sugar, and freeze them. They may be used to decorate cakes, or you may put the fresh blossoms inside of ice cube trays. Fill them up with water and freeze for a fun way to accent cold drinks at a garden party. Violets are often a child’s favorite flower and are worth saving a small section of your garden for.

Take another look at that listing of medieval herbs. Many types of medieval herbs are readily available today as improved modern varieites. So where do you find them? Try checking out a nursery or garden center. It is just that easy. MAGICKAL PLANTS ARE EVERYWHERE!

NEW TO WICCA,A GUIDE TO YOUR ALTAT SET-UP

Uncategorized March 14th, 2008

GREETINGS FROM THE ONCE WAYS!!!!

HERE IS JUST SOME BASIC INFO FOR THOSE OF YOU

NEW TO THE CRAFT!!!

FROM EMILY OF THE SILVER MOON COVEN

The space where you perform your rituals and ceremonies is very personal. There is really no set requirement for ritual space, other than that it should be safe, private and feel perfect to you, the practitioner. Having said that, there are a couple of guidelines that you may find useful when deciding where to set up a permanent altar.

1. Privacy - The rituals you practice are your communication with the Goddess. This is your time, and it should have no place for self-consciousness, or fear of outside reactions. Find a space in your home, or near your home where you feel safe and uninhibited, and where your inner powers can emerge uninterrupted.

2. Environment - We all have different things that trigger our sense of the sacred. For some it is the proximity of water, for others perhaps woods or mountains help us to achieve the sense of the sacred. One universal however, is respect for your sacred space. If at all possible, create a dedicated space. Keep your altar space clean and clear of household items, children’s toys, etc. Protect this space and treat it as your church - because it is!

3. Aesthetics - This is one of the most important spaces in your life. Just as you would take time and care choosing a color and furniture for your living room, you should take time and care with selections for your altar room. When you choose a wall color, think of how you feel when surrounded by that color. Or perhaps consider coloring the four walls differently to symbolize the four directions.

4. Storage - there will be some storage needed in your altar room. You will need a safe place to store your ritual tools, herbs and oils. Be sure to think about child safe, and also about keeping casual intruders out of your tools and supplies. I found a wonderful old desk with a cupboard above that has a lock. This serves as my tool cabinet and at the same time keeps all my ritual tools out of the curious hands of friends and children. (see below for some helpful hints on choosing furnishings)

5. Time - daily life has never been busier than it is now! We all have many demands on our time and attention. Make sure you prioritize your ritual time and acknowledge the importance of taking at least a little time out of your week (or if possible each day!) to stop and contemplate the universe and your path as you follow it through this lifetime. You will soon find that the days when you enter your circle and perform your rituals are your best days.

Furnishings for the Altar Room

While budget is a primary concern for most of us, there are ways to work around money when selecting the furnishings for your altar room.

The ALTAR: Try looking through antique shops and even ‘junk’ shops for tables or trunks that could be refinished or painted to become your altar. Or, try your hand at making the piece using wood, or perhaps use a garden table and do a tiled mosaic for the table top.

My STORY: I found my altar in an antique shop on a back street in Provincetown, MA. I knew the moment I saw it that this was my altar. I asked and was told this would cost $90.00. Coincidentally, I had exactly $90.00 in my bag including change and small bills. I handed it all over and just barely fit the Victorian, dragon’s claw foot table in my Ford Escort.

The MORAL of the STORY: Don’t debate or try to barter for your tools or furnishings for your altar space. When you see an item, it will be available to you if it is the right one.

I hope this information is helpful to the new practitioners out there who are trying to begin on the path. Please feel free to write with any questions - I will be happy to go over anything that doesn’t make sense or contain enough detail.

CHARMED, HAUNTED JEWELRY - WORKING WITH VISIONS

Uncategorized March 14th, 2008

Recently I invited ers to email me what topic under energetics they would like to read about and this was the number one request, working with pieces that offer guidance through visions.

In our shared world our senses are categorized as visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Visual includes both what we see and what pictures we make in our mind’s eye. Auditory is what we hear from the outside world and what we hear in our heads including internal dialogue and self talk. Kinesthetic is what we feel externally, such as the temperature, a cool breeze, the coldness of snow. It also covers our internal feelings.

These are the human senses and their categories used in most human behavior based sciences including NLP, Neurolinguistic Programming. For a great foundation in these studies I would suggest you search for NLP materials written by Dr. Richard Bandler and John Grinder, the co-developers of NLP. Dr. Bandler is the father of NLP and he is active today having transformed NLP into DHE which I experience as NLP with the addition of magick. I highly recommend google search Richard and visit his site. He is truly a magician of the highest order.

Going to the next phase of sensory exploration we consider each of these sensory based categories and consider which one of them plays the biggest role in the kind of energetic you want to use. Clearly for this guide, it’s visual.

Using an energetically charged piece of jewelry, art, clothing or other item is no different than using a hammer if you are a carpenter, a brush if you are a painter or scissors if you are a hairdresser.

They are your tools. What kind of tool you choose, the degree to which you are proficient at using tools and the results you get are all 100% subjective.

It’s up to you, you are the creator. The tool is just the tool.

When you are thinking about working with visual energetics, ones that are designed to increase your visual capacity & your personal visual energy field you need to consider where you are on the developmental level of working with visions. If you have worked with visualisation techniques you are likely to have more success from a higher vibrational tool than someone who is having difficulty seeing things in their mind.

You see we all have visions. We all hear voices. We all feel. This is a given in the human condition.

In the energetic world deaf people hear, just not the same way as hearing people do. Blind people have visions, just not the kind of sight seeing people have. Often we as a people are amazed at what a non hearing or non sight person achieves in the world but we forget (or don’t know) that in the world of energy they have hearing and sight in other ways. They may not use their ears or eyes as the tools to these experiences but they adapt to using other tools.

No one can read the work of Helen Keller and not realize that her entire being was alive in our shared world. She felt what you and I may see and hear and because feeling was her one energy path to develop she developed it keenly. This may sound like a story of great achievement, and in many ways it is. But those who study energetics see this story as the natural progression of energy through an open, accepting and willing conduit. As Dr. Malcolm says in Jurassic Park

“Life finds a way.”

What has all this to do with working with visionary pieces?

This -

You as the conduit for the energy must first prepare yourself.

The piece has the energy pattern but if you are not prepared or able to handle it, it will not add to your personal evolutionary process and will either haunt you or shut itself down. You do not want either to happen so self preparation is the first key.

Here are some things you can do to self prepare to work with a visual patterned energetic:

1. Grease the wheels - work with visualisation without the piece. You can start with the basics by google searching how to use visualisation and read up on the many techniques available today. Twenty five years ago it was considered odd, today it is mainstream medicine.

2. Journal any visions, ideas, throughts or experiences you may have using VT (visualisation techniques). By journalling you bring in auditory and kinesthetic modes to the process which will help ground you. You want to build a strong foundation in the shared world before visions from the higher worlds reach you.

3. At least once a day don’t read a magazine, visually take in a magazine. Choose a topical magazine or book that has something to do with your purpose, your goal. For example if you are intending to employ a visual energetic for increasing wealth, choose materials that will show pictures, photos and illustrations that represent wealth to you. It could be a travel magazine, opulent homes, fashion, real estate, whatever holds the symbols of great wealth for you.

Invest fifteen to twenty minutes a day visually exploring this material. You can flip quickly from cover to cover, turn the pages one at a time, randomly open to pages or any mix of these methods. Allow your eyes to view the page or pages from edge to edge at one time by defocusing your eyes a bit, taking in the entire scope of the open page or pages. Then go to the next page and do the same.

While you are engaged in this process use the basic healing breath technique.

Use full diaphragm breathing - in through the nose filling first your lungs then expanding your diaphragm and belly with oxygen, hold for four seconds, breath out evenly and calmly through your nose from your belly up emptying every bit of breath, calmly and at an even pace. This is done on every page that you are visually taking in.

4. Once you have explored this process a bit add onto it by allowing yourself to focus in on specific visuals and note on your body how you feel when your eyes accept the visual and your brain first translates the image from page to your consciousness.

Those images that feel “good” to you are images that make your body feel more like you want it to feel and less like you don’t want it to feel.

This may seem obvious to you when you read it but it isn’t in every day life. Just as my son goes nuts when his friend Joey puts ketchup on mashed potatoes, each of us experiences our lives with such deeply ingrained ways of being that we make immediate evaluations about other peoples’ choices and actions using our personal way of being and often this leads to judgment against others.

This part of the exercise will bring you to a place where you have firsthand experience of how visuals impact you personally.

Example - I have a difficult time equating wealth with photos of folks standing in front of their expensive gas guzzling automobiles. The visuals of this creates a “bad” feeling on my body, feelings that are unpleasant, tight constricted breathing, tense muscles, the beginning of a frown. When I view photos of people helping people such as photos of animal rescue after Katrina, Princess Di during her travels, the local newspaper pics of the soup kitchen expansion, I get “good” feelings. My body relaxes, I feel chills and breath deeply.

These are my personal reactions to visuals that actually tell me virtually no real thing about any real thing.

Think about that. The photo of a guy standing in front of new Hummer exclaiming “I did this, you can too!” is not a “bad” thing. In fact, for the picture I am seeing in my mind now, I know the guy in the photo. He is a wonderful person with very high energetic vibrations, a gifted writer, speaker and trainer, a genuine and authentic caring human being. He does more charity and goodwill work than any other 10 people I know… yet that picture of him in that way affects my body in a way that is not good for me.

And that is what this part of the exercise is designed to do - to give you firsthand experience of how you process visual information by noting how it affects your bodily sensations and becoming familiar with what feels good to you.

THERE IS NO JUDGMENT ABOUT THE VISUALS THAT DONOT FEEL GOOD TO YOU.

The photos that do not feel good to you do feel good to others. They serve a purpose for everyone in that for you they show you what visuals not to take in going forward.

5. Move from viewing to seeing. The process you just engaged in, taking in large scopes of visual material with little actual eye focus or conscious mind engagement, is called viewing.

This is what people use when they are accessing remote viewing.

Now you are going to move from viewing to seeing.

Again choosing the same material as before, focus in on the visuals as you page through it. If your eyes are captured on something allow them to stay on the subject for a few moments. Note your body’s processing feelings. If they are unpleasant move on to another visual; if they are pleasant stay and visit a bit longer.

How long you keep your focus depends on your ability to do so with limited internal dialogue. You want to be processing body sensations not internal dialogue about what you think about the visual, but rather what you are feeling in your body as you are viewing and then looking at the visual. Do this with a few items and then put them away and go about your day.

At this point be open and ready for some intriguing experiences.

I can’t share them here as they are meant to be experienced, lived. But you will begin to live them and you will see how they relate to the items you visually explored using the methods above. Once you begin to have these serendipital experiences you are well prepared to move onto working with your piece and the good news is you have done just about all the work you need to for this to happen now.

Using your chosen piece, sit holding it and engage in a few minutes of basic healing breath as described above; wear your piece and go about your day.

The vision guidance will come to you with more ease and less interference now that you have prepared yourself for it. I suggest keeping a separate journal for each of the visions as they come. You may want to carry a portable recorder so that you can record your impressions immediately after.

These kinds of visions are not your life experience, they are on an energy vibration that is different from your daily shared world vibration so you are apt to lose the impressions. This could happen from immediately after for some or after a night’s sleep for others. Some famous psychics including Edgar Cayce claim they had no memory of any of their visions and they engaged assistants to record the experiences for them as they happened. Most of the Cayce material was recorded by other people while he was having the visions.

And this brings me to our closing - if this is the energy you want to develop then follow the proven path of all mankind, immerse yourself in its world. I would suggest reading materials from Dr. Richard Bandler and the Edgar Cayce materials to start. Business folks tout business books, seminars, workshops and stories without any fanfare. Psychic, metaphysical and magickal folks have not enjoyed this open path throughout time; we have withstood everything from ridicule to outright persecution to create our networks.

Today you can search the words metaphysical, wicca, haunted and find all the tools and education available to you from around the world. Our inheritance from the folks who paved the way before us is to continue to evolve, continue to be, do, have, experience, express and create as we thrive as humans and divine beings.

And to this end, in light may you thrive in your own life.

Dr. Richard Bandler’s name is a copyrighted name.

PS - The Helen Keller Story is a classic with a young Patty Duke as Helen. It is worth watching again, but recently I was led to a current documentary, Sound & Fury. This movie completely changed my experience of the deaf community, in fact, the entire “handicapped” community, which is where I do a lot of my work. It is a very powerful movie with no agenda, just sharing authentic human stories.

For those seeking a real numerology, tarot or rune readings, make sure you investigate your reader prior to purchasing and throwing your hard earned money away. Decoz is a perfect example of how you can get a full 10 page numerology report for free. All they are doing is typing in your name and birthdate, printing the report and sending it out….no real abilities or years of training are needed to do that. Wanna be psychics will use any tactic to rip you off and make themselves look good, so again…BEWARE!
