I am an avid yankee Game attendee and when I buy tickets I buy them on eBay. I buy tier tickets, which some i’ve won a pair for as little as $4.01. When I go to the games I just sit wherever I want. The key to sitting anywhere you want at Yankee Stadium is to be courteous and polite. If someone comes to where you’re sitting, and they have the seats, just get up and move some where else. The reasons why there are so many empty seats at games is for 3 reasons. 1. They stink this year and nobody wants to go, 2. Starting prices for tickets on eBay are too high, and like me, most people do what I do and 3. Scalpers ask for too much. So take advantage of this. The ushers don’t really care and they ‘re told leave people like me alone. Steinbrenner once said he doesn’t care either because by sitting in box seats makes it look like there are more people at the game. Just the other day I won a pair for the game on 7/2 for $10 and I sat 15 rows back from the field behind the yanks dugout. Those seats are normally $100 apiece. Go Yanks!
