Here are two quick Shipping Tips ?Bag-It and Anti-Static Peanuts

Both of these shipping tips should be helpful for people who sell regularly on eBay and want to ensure your Buyers have a top-notch perception of your packing skills.

Bag It

Most merchandise just flat out looks better if it is pre-packaged in a bag before being placed in the shipping container. The best results are from clear poly bags, but even plain white trash bags can be used in a pinch. Just make sure the trash bags are new and don’t have the handles or ties built in. You can buy the white bags in sizes all the way down to ones meant for small bathroom containers.

The clear poly bags are available from most large packing supply companies, like Uline. They are available in a wide variety of sizes and are exceedingly affordable on a per-bag price. The only catch is sometimes you have to buy a minimum of 1,000 bags in a package. So maybe you can share the purchase with one or more local friends who also sell on eBay.

Anti-Static Peanuts

I come from an era where I used to associate anti-static packing materials with electronics parts and products. The concept is an accidental discharge of static electricity could damage or destroy the components on or in the part being shipped. So naturally I assumed that anti-static packing peanuts were meant just for shipping electronics.

WRONG! Anti-static packing peanuts are great for shipping EVERYTHING. This is because the regular packing peanuts can be difficult to handle if you or the peanuts develop a static cling. Even if you don’t have problems while packing the item, your customers could end up with a challenging mess on their end. So I highly recommend anti-static packing peanuts for any types of shipping use if you can get them. Again, I have a Uline warehouse local to me, so I can go get a 20 cubic-foot bag of them every few weeks. Their green anti-static peanuts are the same price as standard peanuts AND they are made from 100% recycled materials.

I get lots of very positive Feedback comments about how my items are packed. And these are just two of the tips that I believe help me earn those kudos. I’ll share more tips in the future. As always, I truly appreciate the time you’ve spent to read my guides and a Helpful vote would be great!
