Orlimar HIP-Ti 420 Driver Golf Club
Golf June 25th, 2008
I have been playing the HipTi 420 in 10.5 loft and stock stiff shaft for a few years now, and it is a great club. I remember one reviewer in a leading golf magazine called it "oh my gosh long," and it is just that. The only longer driver I have hit is the new Orlimar HTi 440. One thing you need to know about these two drivers is that the stiff shaft in the HipTi is very light (52 grams) and whippy. The reason I went to the new HTi is that I was hooking the HipTi because of the light shaft, and the HTi shaft is much stiffer and heavier (65 grams), with less torque. Even though I have tried Callaway, Taylor Made, and the others, I have kept coming back to Orlimar over the years–their fairway woods and drivers are tops in my book. A great value, too.
