Wiccans love life and nature. They have generalized guidelines, including do as one wilt without harm. Thus, Wicca has one main difference, unlike traditional organized religion, individuality is welcome.

Wiccans are inclusive. You can believe parts of it and are free to believe other things.

Wiccan magic transforms a person from a state of helplessness i.e. victim to one of strenght and personal responsibility.

This goes back to the earth and the moon. The Moon is central and revered. Satanism, black magic and witchcraft were NOT part of the wiccan beliefs of old. Wiccans nonetheless went underground for fear of persecution and misundertsanding. Today Wicca is an individual practice..and practiced in Covens -small groups from three to thirteen. Often extensive training accompanies membership. Celebration, ritual and magick positively improve member’s lives.

Wiccans are individualists, valuing love, fun, dreams, song and dance, poetry, Karma, and feasting.

They do not witness, do not follow a central book, and do not engage in negative spells. They are not cults. They do not have followers. They welcome fellow worshippers..bothers and sisters. There are many different groups of Wicca. Unlike traditional organized religion, individuality is welcome.

Cleansing is a ritual. Personal cleansing is sometimes done with a salt water bath or shower with a salt/baking soda, and myrrh scrub. Used to get rid of negative. or start with a clean slate.

Special jewelry is a tradition. Gemstones have special meanings, as do metals like gold, silver, copper.

For Love:

On a Friday night of the waning moon, cut two red strings of equal length.

Before going to sleep, place these two strings on your altar to form a heart. Add a red candle.

You can annoint the candle with rose oil. You can add make a rose pentagram with a special number of rose petals. or add a single deep red rose petal that is chaped like a heart.

Light your red candle. Say: “As this red heart glows in the candlelight…I draw a lover closer to this night ”

Don’t think of any specific person while doing this (they must come of free will).

Take the string, place in a scented envelop, seal with the red candle wax and place under your pillow.

Some like to bathe in lavendar or bathe in water with rose petals floating upon it afterward. Some like to go though ritual adding salt to a morter upon the alter, then sage to rid negative energy, rose petals, etc., ask goddesses to help, then put in muslin bag with a bathe to cleanse negative love energy. Then proceed with string next morning.

Upon waking the next morning, take the two strings, line them up and tie nine knots in them, together, saying with each knot:” Love is bound to come to me.”Feel love flowing through you. Repeat as needed, every month. Keep strings you until love has found its way to you, then place the bound strings in a safe place.
