so far i have not seen any presidential proof 70 FIRST DAY OF ISSUE graded by ngc , why , when i contacted ngc and asked that very question, they told me ” THEY WERE NOT ELIGIBLE” so therefore they must not have received any coins within the time frame allowed to receive that designation or “first strike” designation. Which may be why proof 70 ngc certified presidential coins are rare because they received “seconds” for lack of a better word. Keep in mind that ngc is a coin dealer as well as a grading company. If you do your reseach you will find out that icg is not a coin dealer and the employees are not allowed to buy, sell or even collect coins. therefore when they grade coins it is a true and accurate grade and they do not benefit in any way.As FAR AS I KNOW ngc DOESN’T have policy for their employees. therefore makes you wonder if politics is involved. just some food for thought . WHICH PRESIDENTIAL PROOF 70 COINS WOULD YOU BUY????????????
