How to use Google Checkout, through your email.
electronics February 19th, 2008
Want to pay for your auctions with the least amount of work and without giving all your information? Google Checkout allows you to only provide an email address and phone number and you are set. Other online payment sites require you to verify your address, credit card, bank accounts, SSN, and in some cases much much more. When you buy from someone or some company that uses Google Checkout/Google Checkout Email Invoices, you follow these very simple steps to pay without all the red tape.
- You receive the email from the seller/company, that contains a secure link and a description in the email as to what the invoice is for.
- Click on Link
- If you are not signed up for Google Email or Google Checkout, you will be asked to provide an email address, phone number and to set a password. Click Continue.
- Enter your Name, Credit Card information, Shipping Address and Phone Number. Click Continue
- Your next step is to make sure you keyed in the information correctly and then Click Process Order.
Confirmation emails are sent to the Buyer and the Seller. That is all you have to do, you don’t want to keep you address or credit card information stored. You can go into your Google Checkout Account and delete information. This process is just like buying from any store you go to, the only thing is you receive your items by mail instead of in person.
