If you are using a Pocket PC or other device , you need make sure to have a memory card with sufficient memory space installed in order to transfer alot of audio book files from your PC to your PDA.
Digital ebooks offer advantages for readers with special needs. The on-screen text of an eBook can be easily enlarged. The playback of digital audiobooks can be adjusted; the speed can be slowed for readers with learning disabilities or increased for the visually impaired.
Ebooks are very versatile and easy to use. They are also economical and beneficial to the environment in that paper is not used unless a printout of just what you need is printed and taken with you for personal use.
You‘ll need special free software to use digital books, but it‘s easy to get. Of course you’ll need Winzip and Adobe Acrobat reader to view the files on your computer. But you also need to know that eReader is the most popular, and easiest to use, free software that allows you to read eBooks on your handheld, laptop, desktop computer, and Symbian Smartphones.
There are usually several ways to tranfer your files between devices. These methods usually include the following:
(Synchronize) Synchronize files and folders between local or
network computer and folder or memory card of mobile device.
(Copy or move to computer) Copy or move files from device’s card
or folder to a folder on computer or over the network.
(Copy or move to mobile device) Copy files from a folder on
local or network computer to a folder or memory card on mobile device.
You can usually choose the direction of transferring. You can sync your folders, upload files to your device, or download them to your computer.
Setup any of the above actions for each task is usually easy to do and software and cables are usually included with your device. These file transfers can also be done through bluetooth enabled devices. It’s usually done by copy and paste.
TIP (You could put all the books in a folder and then just copy and paste the whole folder to avoid repetition. Just be sure to remember where you put it in the device for when you need to access it.)
