How to remove stains.

Everyone has a favorite article of clothing and every now and then you spill something on yourself that might leave a stain. Instead of throwing it away or trying to serach for a new one here are some tips to remove those tough stains. INK- soak stain in buttermilk. TEA, COFFEE, COCOA-glycerine,if the stain is wet gently rub, If stain is dry soak in the glycerine. WINE- put the stained portion in boiling milk. GRASS STAIN- use cold water and no soap.BLOOD- If still wet wash in cold water(never hot) with soap and bleach. If blood is dry soak in cold water with a pinch of baking soda, then wash as normal. FRUIT- remove by using a strong solution of borax. GREASE- hot water and soap. MILDEW- soak stain in chloride of lime and then wash in cold water. PAINT- to remove paint from colored material dip stains in terpintine and rub, then dip stains in ammonia and rub, wash in warm water.
