Hi, this is Rockonspeakers with the second guide ever made! This guide is a step by step process on how to make the animated banner like I did for my store. If you want to see it, go to my store to view the banner.

Before you start, you should already have the following things:

- A logo already made for showing

- a catchy phrase that you want to identify yourselves with

- a gif animator like corel painter 7/photoshop/ or if you like go google to find a free trial gif animator (ulead is an example).

If you have these, youre ready to begin!

Step 1 - Story sequence

In windows word, in the font you want, split your ideas into 3-4 sentences. Then open up microsoft paint (in start –>allprograms–> accessories –> paint). Go to image –> Attributes, and set width to 522 and the height to 160.

Go back to word and copy your first part of the phrase to the cavas, and center it up. Save it as “Slide 1″. Repeat for all the other phrases.

Step 2 - Intermission between story sequence

If you look at my banner, you can see that there is this “in between sequence” that says rock on speakers in a fuzz. You can do many things in that intermission between story sequence, and it creates a great effect. This is how i did it:

Open up paint and create initial starting point picture for your intermission. Again the canvas size should be 522 to 160. For me it looked like this:

Then, on corel paint 7 ( If you don’t have corel paint, then you can make a more basic movement anyways), i made 2 more individual slides. the first slide i blurred it up (2% i believe) and recentered it slightly down so it looked like it “boomed”. Slide 2 should be a continuation, blurring it up a tad more. Then (if youre using the free trial gif animator), send all three slides to the gif animator to see what it looks like (no need to setup any delay times, it looks fine in 0.1s increments.

Step 3: Putting the Story/Logo/intermission together

This is where all the hard work looks good. First, you open your gif animator. Second, put the first message in the first slide. Set the delay to that slide for 2 seconds. Then put the intermission in ( for me i put in my 3slide intermission and duplicated it twice so it looked like it boomed twice) and allow it the 0.1 increments already defualted in. Repeat for the next message and make sure the story slides are allowed at least 1-2 seconds for viewing (the eye can’t take shorter than that). Somewhere in between you can put in your logo the same way.

Thats all, and you get a cool, message based animated banner!

If you have any problems feel free to ask me through ask a seller a question, I want you to have a good looking storefront!
