first get a H.E.I. distributor from a 75-79 cadillac, get the offset bottom pulley to bypass the smog pump, set timing to specs, put freeze plugs in holes in the cylinder heads where the A.I.R. tube went. this makes them run alot better when you get rid of the points and smog stuff, be sure to check with your states emission laws first! getting the shop manual is a good idea too!!!
