There are a lot of autograph dealers on EBAY some of which are excellent sellers of quality material. As with any auction venue there is a possibilty of sellers listing fake or forgeries and attempting to sell them to unsuspecting buyers. Please know that you need to be careful and do not be afraid to ask questions including their return policy and guarantee policy should the item be deemed non-authentic at a later date. You need to check the feedback of the Seller and watch for any pattern of dishonest dealing. EBAY does an excellent job of handling complaints and after enough complaints have come in these Sellers will no longer be allowed to operate online in their venue. If a Seller refuses to answer reasonable questions within a reasonable time, simply find another Seller with a similar item. Please be aware that EBAY has several authenticators of autographs that are approved. These authenticators have a proven track record of providing excellent resources with outstanding customer service. There are some certificates of authenticity that are simply not worth the paper they are copied on.
