Can you tell the difference between what people call genuine and natural gemstones? Most people know but if you are the few that aren’t sure… You are not alone.

With all of these beautiful gemstones up for sale here on ebay, it is very tempting to go for that low starting bid with no reserve… Before you bid, if the person listing only describes the gemstone as “genuine” ask this person what he/she is saying…

“Genuine” can mean natural or lab created… Although lab created and natural are the same on a molecular level… knowing the difference will/can determine the “true” value of the gemstones in question…

Take the time to do the research especially is you are making a huge investment!

Lab created is nice and affordable because it can be created in a controlled enviroment… nice quality yet easy to aquire…

Natural, it is harder to come by, the mines in which produce the gemstones can be quite unpredictable… the quality can be unpredictable… so rarity is increased with many precious and semiprecious gemstones.
