Attention Ladies!! We all have those shoes that we love, but they hurt our feet either from rubbing or because they don’t fit quite right. I have recently discovered a line of shoes products call Foot Petals. Other similar items are available by Scholl’s, but Foot Petals are a lot cuter and there are more items and options.

Foot Petals is a line of products designed to be place in your shoe, whether it be on the straps, the inside sole, the bottom of your shoe, the inside toe, or the heel - wherever you need them. They are available on , of course, and through specialty shoe stores. You can buy a Foot Petals kit, which contains the various products, or buy them separately if you just need a particular item.

Foot Petals are amazing. For example, one of the products is called “Strappy Strips.” These are thin foam strips that are sticky on one side. You can use them on your sandal straps to keep them from rubbing your foot, or on your slingback strap to keep it from slipping off your heel. The uses are endless.

Foot petals are available in various colors such as black, pink, silver and tan, and also sometimes in cute animal prints. I particularly like the heel grips which are placed inside your shoe at the heel to keep those sorta big shoes from slipping off your feet. The Killer Kushionz also provide extra comfort for the bottom of your foot - and prevent the sewn in labels on your shoes from snagging your nylons or rubbing on the bottom of your feet.

Trust me, these are well worth the investment. Check them out on - buy just one or two items - and you’ll see what I mean. They are a must have for long events, such as weddings.

Another tip: putting duct tape on the part of your foot where you anticipate a blister forming - the shoes will just rub on the tape and will not harm your skin. Better than a bandaid as it won’t move around and/or fall off halfway through the night.
