Some people say that flood cars are bad news and do not even think about buying them, well in some circumstances they are correct, although some flood cars are not all that bad, I have seen some cars that came from hurricane Katrina and they are not even good for parts. But some cars are barely damaged, when you get water just on the carpet and the carpet can be replaced and any modules replaced if even damaged and all of the fluids checked and changed if water has been in thoughs areas change more than one time maybe 4 or 5 times, that car can be perfectly fine and have a long life ahead of it although some cars are a little more indepth than that such as you highend luxury cars can be a little more expensive to repair and need more attention.

Everybody is saying that people are scamming people and selling flood cars to unwitty buyer and they probably are, so do your homework on them like you should on any big purchase, But flood cars are not all that bad as long as you no what you are buying and the price should reflect that, NOT ALL FLOOD CARS ARE BAD (over the dash bad) (on the carpet ?) (salt water bad) (fresh water ?) It is all about the $$$$$
