I started buying my Daughter Fisher Price Little People when she was 8 months old. Granted at that time she just laughed and chewed on them. I however continued to buy her Little People, the new ones, because I remember how much fun my Sister and I had playing with ours when we were growing up. And I just couldn’t wait.
Now at twenty months old my Daughter has obviously changed the way she plays with her Little People. She has the people dance together, ride the bus, use the potty in the house, and wave hello as they go through doors and windows. In addition she has learned numerous animal noises by picking up the different animals and showing them to her Grandma and I over and over. She can also match the different animals to ones that are the same or similar. For example she knows the circus dog and the black dog are both dogs and they bark.
I recommend the Little People toys to anyone because they are a great toy that continues to grow with your child. As she gets older she can play make believe with the town and its people and numerous animals. Plus the sets are affordable for all because the price of sets varies. I’ve also found them to be great for toddlers on up because they can play with the Little People together since they appeal to the imagination.
Plus Momma likes to play with them too.
