FEEDBACK WHEN IT SHOULD BE LEFT

FEEDBACK IS A IMPORTANT FACTOR ON EBAY TO BOTH THE BUYER & SELLER. AS A BUYER YOU SHOULD NOT EXPECT FEEDBACK LEFT FOR YOU JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE MADE THE PAYMENT, BECAUSE THAT’S NOT WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT. AS A BUYER YOU SHOULD ONLY EXPECT FEEDBACK ONCE THE ITEM IS RECEIVED AND YOU HAVE CONTACTED THE SELLER THAT EVERYTHING’S OKAY. MOST BUYERS WILL LEAVE FEEDBACK ONCE THE ITEM IS RECEIVED AND THEY’RE SATISFIED. AS A SELLER YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THERE IS A LOT MORE AT RISK OF KEEPING YOUR FEEDBACK AT THE CURRENT LEVEL, SO IT IS BEST FOR YOU TO WAIT FOR THE BUYER’S FEEDBACK FIRST OR HAVE THEM CONTACT YOU BEFORE LEAVING ANY FEEDBACK. BECAUSE WHEN IT ALL COMES DOWN TO IT FEEDBACK MOSTLY REFLECTS A LEVEL OF SATISFACTION. IT IS NOT BEST TO ASSUME THAT ONCE THE BUYER RECEIVES THEIR ITEM THEY’RE SATISFIED, YOU NEED TO HEAR THEM TELL YOU THAT EITHER IN A MESSAGE OR BY LEAVING FEEDBACK. WHAT I DON’T REALLY UNDESTAND IS A LOT OF BUYERS ACT LIKE THEY’RE NOT GOING TO LEAVE ANY FEEDBACK UNTIL THE SELLER DOES FIRST EVEN IF THEY HAVE RECEIVED THEIR ITEM AND ARE SATISFIED. THAT IS REALLY NOT FAIR AND MAKES A LOT OF SELLERS NEVER RECEIVE ANY FEEDBACK ON ITEMS THE BUYER HAS RECEIVED AND ARE SATISFIED WITH. AS A BUYER DON’T THINK BECAUSE YOU LEAVE FEEDBACK FIRST THAT THE SELLER WOULD EVEN THINK ABOUT LEAVING A NEGATIVE. ON THE OTHER HAND THOUGH AS A SELLER IF YOU LEAVE FEEDBACK FIRST, BEFORE YOU KNOW THE CUSTOMER HAS RECEIVED THEIR ITEM AND SATISFIED ONLY OPENS THE DOOR TO TROUBLE IF THE ITEM IS RECEIVED AND THE CUSTOMER HAS A PROBLEM. ONCE THE TRANSACTION IS COMPLETE AND EVERYONE’S SATISFIED THERE SHOULD BE NO EXCUSE FOR NOT LEAVING ANY FEEDBACK.
