As a buyer I expect feedback to be left according to how I pay for an item. It is not fair if someone pays promptly and then leaves feedback for an item that may not have been presented properly and thus left less than perfect feedback for the seller and then the seller decides to leave feedback based on the feedback they received. I believe for the feedback system to work properly it should be worked fairly. If I should sell an item on here ever I will always leave feedback according to how I was paid, not according to feedback I receive. Personally I feel that if someone feels the need to leave feedback according to what is left for them then they may not be an honest seller, if you have to hide behind anything then what are you hiding from? If I purchase an item from someone who leaves feedback in this manner then I will not leave feedback at all, I also do not leave feedback for a seller (as a buyer) until feedback has been left for me. As a buyer my feedback should always appear before the feedback I leave as I will wait until I receive the item to leave mine. I believe this is the only way for other people to genuinely “know” who they are dealing with when dealing online.
