I purchased a watch from Erken about three years ago for about $250 U.S. It has an ETA 2824 movement supposedly. Within six months it stopped working and it was not economically viable to mail it back to Italy/Spain so my watchmaker repaired it for about $50. The thing that ticked me off about the transaction was that I wanted the strap to have purple stitching. They were out of them at the time but offered that if I buy the watch they would send me free of charge a strap with the desired stitching. Despite e-mails asking them to live up to the deal, I still don’t have the strap I desire. This company is overrated and I would not do business with them again. Both their products and service are substandard.
