Ebay selling guide to using the shipping calculator
popular books February 27th, 2008
When I first started selling on I used the set price for shipping. Some people way over paid and some underpaid, at my loss. Sometimes the shipping charges can hurt you when you are selling a product. I personally would rather see the shipping calculator when I am looking to bid on an item. I think the main problem for most people is the lack of knowledge about how the shipping calculator works. Here is how I sell with the shipping calculator.
- Write down all the information and details you will need to sell your item on .
- Box up your item with all of the necessary packaging to safely ship your product and then seal it up.
- If you don’t have a personal Postal Scales just go to your nearest post office and ask them to weigh it for future shipping or some post offices have scales in the lobby for customers to use. You might want to ask if it would be considered a oversized package if it seems a little large so you will be sure to add that on your listing when ask on the shipping page.
- You can now start to sell your item on and when you come to the shipping screen you will have all the necessary details to use the shipping calculator.
You can also print your shipping labels from home for your convenience. The shipping calculator will do all the work for you and you won’t be overcharging or undercharging the customer. This can increase your bids and its really very simple.
