Greetings~ This is my 26th Guide, I started long before I realized that there was a Contest that you could win. It seems that the most read and voted Guides are those that Slam Sellers that are out to rip us eBayers off, and that’s a Good Thing, in a way, but not what I think this program was originally intended for. I want to share with you my story about my most recent Stove Purchase on eBay. Everything is Great, there is no Negative Feedback, no Bad Experiences, so if that’s what you’re looking for in a Guide, move on.

I own a Third Generation Stove Shop, specializing in Antique Wood and Coal Stoves, in the same location since 1970 in Beautiful New Hampshire. We do it all, from Sales,Service,Purchasing,Restoration, but this is not an advertisement for our shop, so I digress.

Last month I purchased an Original Antique Round Oak Wood/Coal Cook Stove/Range, for an incredible bargain, right here on eBay. The item # is 220010921675, and you can still view it at the time of Sale. Granted, it looked a little rough, but what a Great Stove it turned out to be.

We drove a total of 12 hours round-trip to pick up the stove, and the Seller was Absolutely Wonderful in helping, I can’t say enough Good Things about him. Thanks John.

After a quick sand-blasting, I was refinishing the Chief, and in 24 hours it was installed in my Shop. I always have a cookstove going, year round, for customers to sample my homemade wares, be it Chilli, Baked Beans, Homemade Bread, you name it. Everyone loves coming in the Shop, just to see what I’m cooking. The wonderful aromas bring them in from the road, as they pass by. Tonight is Spagetti and Sausage(homemade sausage from down the road in Dunbarton, Italian Hot with just the right amount of Anise Seeds) & Homemade Garlic Bread. The Tomatoes for the Sauce came from my neighbor’s garden, just today.) It just doesn’t get any better than this.

So what’s the purpose of this Guide? Simply, that you can get Great Deals on eBay, Meet Nice People, and do Great Things with your Purchases, should you take the time to do so. And I’ve been nibbling on the dinner, so it’s time to get it upstairs to the Wife and Kids. Enjoy eBay for what it is, to enhance your lifestyle, and sometimes, make money as well.
