It’s been set your home is like a metaphor for your life. Every room is a part of you, and is always evolving, just as you are. Energy never stands still and will never be static and free from feng shui perspective. We are always looking to bring a greater light force and more positive energy into our homes and lives. Wouldn’t it be nice to know some simple things that bring us closer to that?

Here is a list of things that I did after reading hundreds of hours about feng shui:

I added a wall near to my hallway to capture a more nurturing setting and help expand both light and space in that area.

Our main living area is painted with the muted light beige and makes the room feel safe and spacious.

We removed thicker curtains from around the Windows and replaced it with lighter fabric and lace to allow more light and energy in.

We periodically “sage the House” and once a month open windows and let fresh air in.

We transformed a rarely used guest room and made a crash from with a couch, and in table and lamp, with plenty of pillows and blankets nearby. It’s now the quiet room.

I’ve also learned to de-clutter as I go through life; every garbage day one more thing gets thrown away has been my motto for years.

And there’s been some other things I read that will bring more flow to your life such as ponds, garden paths, and water all add to feng shui…when you do it right!
