This GUIDE is an EXAMPLE of my actual experiences of

SELLING ON EBAY!

TOP FIVE EBAY MISTAKES!

1) LIST AN ITEM AT BOTTOM PRICES AND GIVE FREE SHIPPING WITH NO RESERVE.

-No matter how great your item is, there is still a good chance that you could end up paying the buyer to take your item. Yeah, I did it just a week ago…I’m still crying myself to sleep.

2) GO TO CLEARANCE SALES AND BUY ITEMS YOU CAN’T RETURN.

- If it doesn’t sale, you lose any profit you may have made from previous sales. Then you start having time consuming garage sales and sell for even cheaper prices to get rid of the items. Oh yeah, BIG GARAGE SALE at MY HOUSE THIS WEEKEND!

3) LIST AN ITEM AT PRICE WITHIN 20% OF ITS RETAIL VALUE.

-It most likely won’t sell because the S&H charge will make it close to retail price. There is no benefit for taking the risk to buy it from you when they can get it from the store.

4) LIST MULTIPLE SIMILAR ITEMS WITHOUT TRYING TO SELL A SINGLE ITEM FIRST?

- You pay all of the posting fees to try to sell the items when you could have just paid one posting fee and saw that there was no market for the item in the first place. (Does anyone want to purchase my old socks?)

5) BUY OR SELL AN ITEM WITHOUT LOOKING AT PERSON’S FEEDBACK.

-You either get a non-payer or negative feedback from a person who have received multiple negative feedbacks on their own record. (yep, that’s why my feedback is 97% positive)

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED…

…DON’T MAKE MY MISTAKES!!!
