Say you buy an item on . Now let’s say the item doesn’t arrive.

First, wants you to request the seller’s contact information before filing a notice of non-receipt. After that has been completed you may file the report, BUT wait!

If you paid with paypal, will tell you that if you wish to file a complaint, you must file your complaint with paypal.

They are the same company!!

Once a complaint with paypal has been filed the buyer must wait up to 30 days for the “ruling”, thus giving ample time for the seller to move the funds from their paypal account so that when paypal finally does get around to ruling in favor of the buyer there will be nothing to recover.

AND, paypal has buyers in a bind because if you have funds available in your

paypal account they will automatically pay for your purchases with

those funds before offering the option of paying with a credit card or

registered bank account.

This pisses me off to no end.

When you have reached this point and you contact they say there is nothing they can do because paypal already handled or resolved the “claim”.

I know that ranting here won’t fix anything for me, but I can hopefully help someone to avoid being in this situation themselves.
