Digital Hygrometer Instructions at Discount Humidors

How to Start Your Digital Hygrometer:

1. Gently pull out the tape to start.
2. Press the display button
3. The LCD will display the humidity and temperature.
4. Attach hygrometer to humdidor with Velcro, if desired.

Do not adjust or move hygrometer for 24 hours until Velcro is set.
Leg stand will only open to maximum 45-degree angle.

Operating the Digital Hygrometer:

This feature is designed to alert the user of changing humidity and temperature conditions.

1. Press Button 1 to view high temperature and humidity. Press Button 1 within 5 seconds to view low temperature and humidity.
2. Press Button 2 to reset and begin new recording. The hygrometer will return to the current temperature and humidity display after 5 seconds.
3. Press the Display Button to go from C to F, or F to C.

The ideal temperature should be between 65 degrees to 70 degrees F. The temperature has a variance of or - 5 degrees. The ideal humidity should be between 70 - 75 %. The humidity has a variance of or - 5%.

Replacing the Battery:

When the battery symbol appears on the LCD screen, replace with a 3V battery.

Constant humidity and temperature provide for consistant climate control. Large changes of daily temperature and humidity can cause conditions not desirable to the user. These conditions may require the user to examine the current conditions and make adjustment to achieve a constant level of climate control.

The hygrometer has been factory calibrated to provide the most accurate display of relative humidity and air temperature available. No further testing will be needed. The purpose of the hygrometer is to provide an accurate measurement of relative humidity and air temperature. It does not humidify or change air temperature.
