The most important thing to remember before you begin decorating is what colors

you want and what furniture, accessories, etc. that need to go or stay. In choosing

colors, stay with only three. If it is contemporary, traditional, or country, only

three colors. Bring the same 3 colors in and thru-out the area, with prints and

solids bringing them all together. Say, Burgandy, Green and Beige(or gold). Also

the accessories must not clash with your style or color scheme. Many people

make the mistake with adding every color in the rainbow, which is too much!

Furniture style must also go together. Tables must go with sofa’s, etc. Also

to bring it all together area rugs will do the trick, they will make it COZY!

Make sure your colors are in the rugs, and pillows, sometimes you should start

with the rug, unless you don’t have one. Putting area rugs on top on carpet is

also a good idea. Plants will make it cozy too! Just remember to stay with

only 3 colors and you will always make it work.
