What are crystal, indigo and rainbow children? These are very special children, with special gifts of sight. How can you tell if your child is gifted? This is a common question when I work with these special children from their parents. Some of the most common signs are; has an imaginary friend; knows details about things that are unexplainable; tells you they “see” angels; seems to be wise way beyond their years. Some of these signs start at a very early age, others manifest a little later.

As an Indigo child growing up, I thought seeing ghosts and communicating with the other side was normal. I thought everyone did this. Back in that time, not much was talked about in the paranormal realm. It wasnt until my twenties that someone finally told me this was not something everyone could do.

Not having someone to talk about this with was very disconcerting as a child. Most often when mentioning something I “saw” or “knew”, it was discounted and brushed over. It can be very hard for a parent of one of these children to understand exactly what is going on in their childrens minds.

Working with your gifted children will be a blessing to you and for your children. If you notice any of the signs I spoke of above, take a minute, talk to your child about them. Ask your child to draw you a picture of the angels they see. Most parents are amazed at what they see. Ask them about their “friends”. Ask them where their friends live and how old they are. Most times their friends are of the same age or very close. It is also highly likely these children have someone who has crossed over in the family they also can see or hear. Has your child ever mentioned a grandmother, grandfather, aunt or uncle to you that has passed over? Many times these children have loved ones watching over them.

Not every child will “hear” or “see” in combination. Some will be able to do one or the other and then there will be some crystal children, who will have both abilities. Crystal children typically have deep penetrating eyes and are easy going, get along kids. Indigo children, which are the older of the two, have a fighting spirit and get bored very easily.
