Another problem EBay refuses to answer me on, is a vendor who leads you to believe you are getting a movie that is authentic. I purchased an out of print title on VHS from Bribobmac - Reincarnation of Peter Proud. Aparantly I am not the only one who was mislead by his wording, or lack of. What you actually receive is a BAD copy of the original movie in a clam shell case with a scanned copy of the cover. He also is one with a nasty disposition. When I received the movie I questioned him about the legitimacy of the copy and he blew my socks off with his vulgarity. EBay still has not responded - Sent 3 requests about the legitimacy of these videos and if they are infact being pirated. If you order something from this guy, when you receive it immediately file an item not as described. Tell them you were lead to believed you were getting an authentic movie and you received a bad quality copy. You are supposed to get a refund. Obviously the amount of people that have already complained is not enough for EBay to do something about this guy.

If you receive a copy call 1 800 NO COPYS to file a complaint with the MPAA. If the seller insists you return the item to receive a refund, check with the people at this number. The MPAA may want you to retain the copies as evidence.

Maybe if we can raise enough noise about these people, they will be removed and a class action lawsuit filed against EBay for allowing these people to cheat the consumer and only caring about their pockets.
