Some women pride themselves on carrying only the ‘best’ designer bags. Others, just want the look of one. Knowing the difference between an ‘authentic’ Coach bag and a ‘knock-off’ can mean more than just saving a few dollars!

Authentic COACH bags always have their serial/model/design number etched on a leather patch, sewn in on the inside of the bag. COACH can also be found on the zipper pulls. The imitation bags will generally have a blank sewn interior tag, if one at all.

The quality of a geniune COACH bag is not always obvious. The materials of both genuine COACH and the ‘knock-off’s” will generally be quite similar. Close up inspection should show the differences. However, they may be too slight to know for sure. Genuine COACH bags do last longer. Most owners of ‘knock-offs’ complain most about the bag not lasting long.

If a seller does not show photo’s of at least the sewn in, etched ‘COACH’ logo tag, use caution bidding and check their feedback. Chances are if they haven’t taken a photo of it…it doesn’t have one.
