CHARMED, HAUNTED JEWELRY - WORKING WITH VISIONS

Uncategorized March 14th, 2008

Recently I invited ers to email me what topic under energetics they would like to read about and this was the number one request, working with pieces that offer guidance through visions.

In our shared world our senses are categorized as visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Visual includes both what we see and what pictures we make in our mind’s eye. Auditory is what we hear from the outside world and what we hear in our heads including internal dialogue and self talk. Kinesthetic is what we feel externally, such as the temperature, a cool breeze, the coldness of snow. It also covers our internal feelings.

These are the human senses and their categories used in most human behavior based sciences including NLP, Neurolinguistic Programming. For a great foundation in these studies I would suggest you search for NLP materials written by Dr. Richard Bandler and John Grinder, the co-developers of NLP. Dr. Bandler is the father of NLP and he is active today having transformed NLP into DHE which I experience as NLP with the addition of magick. I highly recommend google search Richard and visit his site. He is truly a magician of the highest order.

Going to the next phase of sensory exploration we consider each of these sensory based categories and consider which one of them plays the biggest role in the kind of energetic you want to use. Clearly for this guide, it’s visual.

Using an energetically charged piece of jewelry, art, clothing or other item is no different than using a hammer if you are a carpenter, a brush if you are a painter or scissors if you are a hairdresser.

They are your tools. What kind of tool you choose, the degree to which you are proficient at using tools and the results you get are all 100% subjective.

It’s up to you, you are the creator. The tool is just the tool.

When you are thinking about working with visual energetics, ones that are designed to increase your visual capacity & your personal visual energy field you need to consider where you are on the developmental level of working with visions. If you have worked with visualisation techniques you are likely to have more success from a higher vibrational tool than someone who is having difficulty seeing things in their mind.

You see we all have visions. We all hear voices. We all feel. This is a given in the human condition.

In the energetic world deaf people hear, just not the same way as hearing people do. Blind people have visions, just not the kind of sight seeing people have. Often we as a people are amazed at what a non hearing or non sight person achieves in the world but we forget (or don’t know) that in the world of energy they have hearing and sight in other ways. They may not use their ears or eyes as the tools to these experiences but they adapt to using other tools.

No one can read the work of Helen Keller and not realize that her entire being was alive in our shared world. She felt what you and I may see and hear and because feeling was her one energy path to develop she developed it keenly. This may sound like a story of great achievement, and in many ways it is. But those who study energetics see this story as the natural progression of energy through an open, accepting and willing conduit. As Dr. Malcolm says in Jurassic Park

“Life finds a way.”

What has all this to do with working with visionary pieces?

This -

You as the conduit for the energy must first prepare yourself.

The piece has the energy pattern but if you are not prepared or able to handle it, it will not add to your personal evolutionary process and will either haunt you or shut itself down. You do not want either to happen so self preparation is the first key.

Here are some things you can do to self prepare to work with a visual patterned energetic:

1. Grease the wheels - work with visualisation without the piece. You can start with the basics by google searching how to use visualisation and read up on the many techniques available today. Twenty five years ago it was considered odd, today it is mainstream medicine.

2. Journal any visions, ideas, throughts or experiences you may have using VT (visualisation techniques). By journalling you bring in auditory and kinesthetic modes to the process which will help ground you. You want to build a strong foundation in the shared world before visions from the higher worlds reach you.

3. At least once a day don’t read a magazine, visually take in a magazine. Choose a topical magazine or book that has something to do with your purpose, your goal. For example if you are intending to employ a visual energetic for increasing wealth, choose materials that will show pictures, photos and illustrations that represent wealth to you. It could be a travel magazine, opulent homes, fashion, real estate, whatever holds the symbols of great wealth for you.

Invest fifteen to twenty minutes a day visually exploring this material. You can flip quickly from cover to cover, turn the pages one at a time, randomly open to pages or any mix of these methods. Allow your eyes to view the page or pages from edge to edge at one time by defocusing your eyes a bit, taking in the entire scope of the open page or pages. Then go to the next page and do the same.

While you are engaged in this process use the basic healing breath technique.

Use full diaphragm breathing - in through the nose filling first your lungs then expanding your diaphragm and belly with oxygen, hold for four seconds, breath out evenly and calmly through your nose from your belly up emptying every bit of breath, calmly and at an even pace. This is done on every page that you are visually taking in.

4. Once you have explored this process a bit add onto it by allowing yourself to focus in on specific visuals and note on your body how you feel when your eyes accept the visual and your brain first translates the image from page to your consciousness.

Those images that feel “good” to you are images that make your body feel more like you want it to feel and less like you don’t want it to feel.

This may seem obvious to you when you read it but it isn’t in every day life. Just as my son goes nuts when his friend Joey puts ketchup on mashed potatoes, each of us experiences our lives with such deeply ingrained ways of being that we make immediate evaluations about other peoples’ choices and actions using our personal way of being and often this leads to judgment against others.

This part of the exercise will bring you to a place where you have firsthand experience of how visuals impact you personally.

Example - I have a difficult time equating wealth with photos of folks standing in front of their expensive gas guzzling automobiles. The visuals of this creates a “bad” feeling on my body, feelings that are unpleasant, tight constricted breathing, tense muscles, the beginning of a frown. When I view photos of people helping people such as photos of animal rescue after Katrina, Princess Di during her travels, the local newspaper pics of the soup kitchen expansion, I get “good” feelings. My body relaxes, I feel chills and breath deeply.

These are my personal reactions to visuals that actually tell me virtually no real thing about any real thing.

Think about that. The photo of a guy standing in front of new Hummer exclaiming “I did this, you can too!” is not a “bad” thing. In fact, for the picture I am seeing in my mind now, I know the guy in the photo. He is a wonderful person with very high energetic vibrations, a gifted writer, speaker and trainer, a genuine and authentic caring human being. He does more charity and goodwill work than any other 10 people I know… yet that picture of him in that way affects my body in a way that is not good for me.

And that is what this part of the exercise is designed to do - to give you firsthand experience of how you process visual information by noting how it affects your bodily sensations and becoming familiar with what feels good to you.

THERE IS NO JUDGMENT ABOUT THE VISUALS THAT DONOT FEEL GOOD TO YOU.

The photos that do not feel good to you do feel good to others. They serve a purpose for everyone in that for you they show you what visuals not to take in going forward.

5. Move from viewing to seeing. The process you just engaged in, taking in large scopes of visual material with little actual eye focus or conscious mind engagement, is called viewing.

This is what people use when they are accessing remote viewing.

Now you are going to move from viewing to seeing.

Again choosing the same material as before, focus in on the visuals as you page through it. If your eyes are captured on something allow them to stay on the subject for a few moments. Note your body’s processing feelings. If they are unpleasant move on to another visual; if they are pleasant stay and visit a bit longer.

How long you keep your focus depends on your ability to do so with limited internal dialogue. You want to be processing body sensations not internal dialogue about what you think about the visual, but rather what you are feeling in your body as you are viewing and then looking at the visual. Do this with a few items and then put them away and go about your day.

At this point be open and ready for some intriguing experiences.

I can’t share them here as they are meant to be experienced, lived. But you will begin to live them and you will see how they relate to the items you visually explored using the methods above. Once you begin to have these serendipital experiences you are well prepared to move onto working with your piece and the good news is you have done just about all the work you need to for this to happen now.

Using your chosen piece, sit holding it and engage in a few minutes of basic healing breath as described above; wear your piece and go about your day.

The vision guidance will come to you with more ease and less interference now that you have prepared yourself for it. I suggest keeping a separate journal for each of the visions as they come. You may want to carry a portable recorder so that you can record your impressions immediately after.

These kinds of visions are not your life experience, they are on an energy vibration that is different from your daily shared world vibration so you are apt to lose the impressions. This could happen from immediately after for some or after a night’s sleep for others. Some famous psychics including Edgar Cayce claim they had no memory of any of their visions and they engaged assistants to record the experiences for them as they happened. Most of the Cayce material was recorded by other people while he was having the visions.

And this brings me to our closing - if this is the energy you want to develop then follow the proven path of all mankind, immerse yourself in its world. I would suggest reading materials from Dr. Richard Bandler and the Edgar Cayce materials to start. Business folks tout business books, seminars, workshops and stories without any fanfare. Psychic, metaphysical and magickal folks have not enjoyed this open path throughout time; we have withstood everything from ridicule to outright persecution to create our networks.

Today you can search the words metaphysical, wicca, haunted and find all the tools and education available to you from around the world. Our inheritance from the folks who paved the way before us is to continue to evolve, continue to be, do, have, experience, express and create as we thrive as humans and divine beings.

And to this end, in light may you thrive in your own life.

Dr. Richard Bandler’s name is a copyrighted name.

PS - The Helen Keller Story is a classic with a young Patty Duke as Helen. It is worth watching again, but recently I was led to a current documentary, Sound & Fury. This movie completely changed my experience of the deaf community, in fact, the entire “handicapped” community, which is where I do a lot of my work. It is a very powerful movie with no agenda, just sharing authentic human stories.
