When it comes to wedges the first name you should think of is Cleveland. There’s a reason for that, they simply make the best wedges. The CG10 wedge is a relatively new line of Cleveland products that has been offered to “game improvement” golfers. Meaning, they are a bit more forgiving than their usual Tour counterparts. This club is no exception. I am a medium handicapper and have played only 4 or 5 rounds since I bought thus club but it has already become my most used wedge. I used to hit my sand wedge, or the occasional 7 iron bump shot, around the green for short chips and bump and runs, but the 60* has really enhanced my game. Short chips have more spin control and can really get up to those elevated greens. A great club, not leaving my bag anytime soon.
After several more rounds I still have to say I love this club. I hit this club 3rd most only after my putter and driver. The club face is durable and still looks great, even has most of the gunmetal finish left after multiple rounds and many trips to the driving range. Great club, even went out and bought a CG10 56* to replace my old sand wedge.

I use Paypal as my online shipper. Within minutes I can have the “Shipping Label” printed. It does include the necessary information for customs. All I need to do is answer a few questions and I’m done. Paypal collects the money from my account for Canada Post.

It’s so easy. I can either print it from Paypal or Ebay. When the buyer makes their payment through Paypal there is a button beside their name and all I have to do is press it to make a shipping label. I answer the few questions and there I have it the label with custom information.

I can also start out in Ebay by going to “Selling Manager Pro” another wonderful tool. Then locate the buyer I want and go to the drop down and selecting “Print Shipping Label”. It take me right to Paypal and I enter the necessary info and it’s done.

You need to know the size of your package as well as the weight. Next decide on the type of shipping you want. Confirm the Custom info is correct. I normally need to provide the weights of the item and the Country of Origin.

People often ask me if retail values on eBay are ‘realistic’ or ‘overinflated’

I have people ask me all the time to explain exactly what a ‘retail replacement value’ or ‘appraisal value’ is so I will try to make this short and to the point.

Firstly most appraisals are for insurance replacement value, IE: an ‘on demand’ price.

‘On demand’ jewelry generally has a 400% to 800% mark up at the retail level, sometimes even more

Meaning that wholesale, on an item that is appraised at $1000 is anywhere from about $42 to $100 when a jeweller is buying the item outright from a wholesaler. (eBay is advantageous to wholesalers because normally even if a retailer is buying items outright from a wholesaler they will ask for term payment over 30 to 90 days, whereas on eBay you are getting your money before you even send the merchandise, a level of comfort that is hard to beat)

Cash retail selling price is generally 1/2 to 1/3 of ‘on demand’ retail. (This is also sometimes called ‘Fair Market Value’)

Most of the people selling jewelery and gemstones on eBay are in fact wholesalers not retailers (which is the case with us as well) because retail jewelers simply can’t afford to compete.

So the question is, are you still getting a deal buying at 5% to 20% of the appraised value? Well even you have a connection to a wholesaler of jewelry and gemstones, they will generally still sell the item at a higher price than what they would sell to a retail jeweler for (although cheaper than you would pay retail)

All of that said, if you are still uncomfortable buying an item from a particular seller on eBay, you shouldn’t. There is no need to tie yourself up in knots waiting a week or two for an item to arrive.

If you REALLY think that the new feedback system is supposed to “Look Out for you” - I have a RUDE AWAKENING. This is how the New Feedback system is supposed to KILL the market on eBay.

Picture this… eBay execs sitting in their comfy leather chairs while gazing out on the city view. Exec 1 says to Exec 2 - How are we going to make more money?

The new feedback system is designed to DRIVE UP prices. How you ask? It is obviously meant to ELIMINATE small-to-mid-size e-commerce businesses from being able to lower their prices.

But, what do you mean? Well, with fees low - sales high - and discounts… Sellers could be competitive with pricing. BUT, eBay takes care of their EXTREMELY HIGH volume sellers by the new feedback rule (because when you do 1,000 + orders a month, it is awfully hard not to hit the right new PowerSeller levels) yet if you sell 100 a month… 3 (yes only 3) Neutrals will drop you out of PowerSeller status.

Therefore, High Volume Sellers control the pricing. Allowing costs to go up… supply to go down… and more money to go in eBay’s pocket.

Does it hurt eBay Buyers in any other ways? Of COURSE!

- Sellers knowing they will not be able to attain PowerSeller status only does ONE thing. Drop customer service to lower levels.

It is hard enough to please 98 out of 100 people. Now, with the new feedback people, you are going to get disgruntled, poor-natured people all around. Therefore, sellers will quit trying. A sale is a sale.

I know, personally, I will rearrange my Return policy. Why? Because I know no matter how hard I try… there is no penalty for a cutomer leaving negative feedback.

So… as eBay’s prices and customer service gets worse.. you know who to thank!
