Don’t make the same mistake I did. I bid on a six inch crystal glass ball. I bid $2.00. Thought that if I got it for $2.00 that would be great. The add did not specify shipping costs. Well I won the bid. Got my crystal ball for 2 bucks. After I won it I got the invoice for the shipping. The ball is being shipped from Australia and will cost $81.00 dollars to ship. So really my ball costs 83 bucks. I won the bid, so to keep my contract I paid the money. So. Do I hide the ball in shame in my closet or do I set it out so it can remind me to ask about shipping costs from overseas before I bid on something?
I also bid on two silver bars from China. Two bucks again. Thank goodness some one out bid me by 75 cents. Wonder what that guy is going to pay to have them shipped.
