For a little extra, you can also buy them with crocheted edges, which are so very beautiful.

You can purchase burp cloths in the baby department of most department stores. However, most are made out of thin flannel material and are not very absorbent and some of them are very small. The plus side to buying these is that you can get them to match your baby decor. If you want store bought burp cloths, pay attention to how what material is used and how thich the burp cloths are. You also want to make sure the burp cloths are large enough to lay over your shoulder.

Cloth diapers are another option. The plus side of using these for you baby is that they are very thick and will absorb lots of goo. The down side is that some people have problems with using a diaper (even a new one) to wipe your babies face. You can find lots of sellers on eBay who will even embroider almost anything onto these cloth diapers. Some even decorate them with ribbon.
