Beware of “FREE” items and “DO NOT BID” items!
Don’t follow the links on eBay Sellers pages that claim to get you free stuff!!!!
Beware of pages that say “DO NOT BID” or “TOTALLY FREE” or “MUST READ! 100% LEGIT & TRUE” for items like PS3, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, Plasma TVs, iPods, Computers, Laptops, Diamond Jewelery or anything else for that matter. They are trying to get you to follow a link to an external webpage that is a scam!
They love to say that they wouldn’t risk their eBay rating by scamming you, but have you checked their eBay rating? Usually they have no eBay rating or just a few.
What they really want is to get you to go to a non-eBay site and sign up with them! This usually means that you have to sign up for a whole bunch of other services, LOTS OF JUNK EMAIL, SPEND A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY and jump through a million hoops and supposedly, then you will get your free item.
Please don’t fall for this, but if you do, you do it at your own risk, and please don’t say I didn’t warn you.
I hope this guide saves at least one person from falling for this if not a lot of people. Happy bidding to you all, and if you found this helpfull, please rate this guide. Thank you.
