I personally think that crocheted dish cloths clean much better than the store bought dish cloths. With the crocheted cotton dish cloths there is more texture to scrub off dirt and grime off of your dishes and other surfaces. They do take a little longer to dry but you are supposed to change your dish cloth daily so it really doesn’t matter. I just throw my washing machine at the end of each day and pull out a new dish cloth. When I used to buy the store bought dish cloths within a couple of months there would be holes in them, with the hand crocheted dish cloths they last alot longer. So buy some of my dish cloths.
