AKG K55 HD: Good value for new studios and businessppl.
electronics February 19th, 2008
The AKG K55 HD is not Sennheiser but is great if you have/are starting a recording studio and want a great buy.
AKG K55 HD headphones have a security cable which will screw down to tables and posts so that they do not get stolen. Those in the recording industry know that you have to hire someone to watch your stuff between sets - music equipment is valuable.
Businesspeople will also like these headphones at booths for the security feature and good sound quality.
The bass is slightly-better-than-average, the treble is good, and overall the quality of the headphone is good.
Good if you want to record independent music or have a booth. If you are recording a CD for MTV, these are not for you.
